Job Summary
Forge for Business is seeking an experienced accountant who enjoys working directly with clients. This role owns the process start-to-finish including publishing financial statements and answering client questions.
Key Activities

- Manage and coordinate all accounting/bookkeeping for complex clients, this includes review and approval of Bill Pay, Settlement Support, and other relevant ancillary services
- Demonstrate technical expertise with QuickBooks and accounting in general
- Communicate directly with clients relating to accounting issues
- Established skills in accuracy, organization, communication and working in a high-volume environment
- Work with Accounting Manager and other Senior Account Managers to improve overall operations of the accounting team
Key Performance Areas
- Perform all critical tasks to perform bookkeeping activities
- Monthly bookkeeping (account reconciliations, monthly financials)
- Advanced Client Cost Reconciliation
- IOLTA Reconciliation
- Provide feedback and updates to Relationship Manager
Bookkeeping
- Identify and escalate significant changes in client’s business
- Participate in the annual client review to offer relevant qualitative information
- Execute ongoing client work in the Client Project module
- Responsible for client’s working files
- 1099 Project
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of full lifecycle Accounting experience
- QuickBooks Experience (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Flexible and adaptable working style – providing high level of customer service to clients
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times.
